Sport Betting Rules

Scope and Application

The following Sports Betting Rules govern the use of Xhjili's interactive sports betting products and services. They form part of the Operator's General Terms & Conditions and apply to all registered End Users who hold a betting account. Where any inconsistency exists between these Rules and the General Terms, the General Terms prevail. The English text governs the interpretation of these Rules, and in case of translation discrepancies the English version shall prevail.

Data and Market Information

Xhjili provides betting information in good faith. The Operator disclaims liability for errors or omissions relating to dates, times, venues, competitors, odds, results, or other market data. The Operator reserves the right to correct mistakes and to determine final outcomes where necessary. All data displayed on the site may be delayed or incomplete; placing bets based on such data is at the End User's sole risk.

Bet Validity and Timing

  • Pre‑start bets on a market are valid if the event has not begun. Bets placed after the official start time on non‑live markets are void unless explicitly stated otherwise for live markets.
  • If an event begins earlier than scheduled, bets on markets that have not been closed are void unless the market was already conclusively determined prior to start.
  • Where there is an inconsistency in event naming between languages, the English naming reference is authoritative.

Event Alterations: Postponement, Suspension, and Venue Changes

  • Postponed or abandoned events: Bets on markets not unconditionally determined shall be void unless otherwise stated in the market description. If an event is resumed within a defined window, bets may remain valid according to the resumed result.
  • Change of venue: If the venue for a match changes, bets on that match shall be void unless the market already opened and is a non‑team event where the market structure permits continuation.
  • Where the event's registered duration changes, bets on that event become invalid unless markets have definitively determined outcomes.

Results, Official Data, and Disputes

  • Final results are settled based on the official result published by the relevant governing body at the time of settlement, or as otherwise determined by the Operator where applicable.
  • If a discrepancy exists between the on‑site results and the official result, the Operator may rely on video materials or governing body declarations to determine the final outcome. The Operator's decision is binding.
  • The Operator may suspend settlement of any market when there is uncertainty regarding a result. Settlements may be reversed if warranted by new or correcting information, provided such decision is made within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Bets may be voided or settled according to the Operator’s assessment if irregularities in event handling, scorekeeping, or data feeds are detected.

Rounding, Odds, and Payouts

Odds and settlements reflect precise mathematical treatment: displayed odds are shown with two decimal places, while total odds are calculated using a sixth decimal place, and the total winnings are truncated to two decimal places. The time between settlement and any potential re‑settlement may not exceed thirty days.

Outright and Special Markets

Outright markets involve selecting a participant or outcome to win a season, tournament, or competition. If a listed participant does not start, related Outright bets are void. In the event of multiple winners or a Dead Heat, payouts are shared pro rata among winners. For example, in a two‑way Dead Heat, the stake is divided by the number of winning participants, and odds apply per the market terms. The Play‑or‑Pay rule applies to Outright markets: bets stand as settled losses if a listed participant cannot take part, regardless of reason. Head‑to‑head markets exclude runoff impacts in such circumstances.

Common Betting Types

  • Moneyline: bet on the outright winner of an event or on a higher score than the opponent.
  • Handicap (including Asian Handicap in applicable markets): a virtual advantage or deficit applied to a participant for settlement purposes.
  • Over/Under: wagering on whether the aggregate result will be above or below a defined threshold.
  • Odd/Even: betting on whether the total score or points is odd or even.
  • Correct Score: predicting the exact final score of the event.
  • Half‑Time/Full‑Time: forecasting outcomes at half‑time and at full‑time in a single market.
  • First Goal / Last Goal / Anytime Goalscorer: selecting which player or team scores at designated times or intervals.
  • Corners: estimating the total number of corner kicks in a match or segment thereof.
  • HT/FT combinations and Double Chance: markets covering specified combinations of half‑time and full‑time outcomes.

In‑Play (Live) Betting Rules

Live markets settle based on the score and events as displayed during the match. Goals or events occurring before a bet is placed are disregarded for settlement. If a match is interrupted, paused, or resumed, settlement follows the live score as updated. Any discrepancy caused by official VAR decisions or on‑field decisions will be treated in accordance with the Operator's VAR policy, which may void or adjust bets if the incident timing affects the state of play as understood at the moment of bet placement.

Specific Situations and Special Provisions

  • Play‑or‑Pay for Outright markets: bets stand even if a participant cannot compete; H2H markets remain void if one participant does not take part.
  • Two‑and‑three format matches or other formats: the Operator may apply format rules published for a given event; where formats differ from standard, bets are settled according to the published format.
  • Fraud and integrity: if there is reasonable suspicion of manipulation or fraud, the Operator may withhold settlements, void bets, or report to regulatory bodies as required.

Regulatory and User Obligations

End Users must act in good faith and in compliance with these Rules and the General Terms. Any attempt to bypass limits, exploit vulnerabilities, or engage in collusion may result in bet voids, account restrictions, or legal action. The Operator reserves the right to amend these Rules at any time, with changes becoming effective upon publication on the platform.
